Description ::
Handmade basket by Purepecha Indian women near Lake Patzcuaro. Very attractive and sturdy, this large basket with lid is made from "chuspata" or tule reeds. It was originally made to hold tortillas, but can be used to store jewelry or other keepsakes. It features a woven handle on top.
Smaller baskets with or without lids are also available upon request.
