These exquisite, large rebozos are woven on a back-strap loom by master weavers (such as the artisana pictured on our TEXTILE page) from a small Purepecha village in Michoacán. They are made of cotton and are quite strong because they were woven very tightly. Still, these shawls are nice and soft, and feel great. They look terrific with a dress or blue jeans! You won't find handmade rebozos of this quality anywhere outside of Mexico.
These rebozos are hand washable, and are available in white, natural, black, red, purple, brown, turquoise, green, and multi-colored stripes.
